Answer: The world of law is, arguably, bearing the ‘burden’ as it witnesses the influx of ‘disruptive’ information technologies. It could also be contended that this is absolute hyperbole. Opinions surrounding these information technologies tend to provide that said technology is essential for the legal profession should it wish to progress. This poses the question as to whether there can be an inherent link drawn between law firms and their clients – or do the two have different objectives – which would undoubtedly be hindered by said information technologies? Writers claim that, regardless of the ease that information technologies can bring, they most definitely will not replace the traditional legal application of judgment.
